Description

The Moon - Eneathrae

Neeext tarot card, this time Spirit Shaman Eneathrae Elen’liina, star elf of Sildeyuir and fey warlock. She started out as sweet elven girl, young, a bit naive and innocent. Her devotion to the spirits and Sehanine, her goddess, was impressive and a bit fanatical maybe but still pure. As she started to know better the world from where her people ran away thousands years ago, it began to corrupt young elf. As the time was passing by, her hunger for power grew in her heart, drove by dream of her home, Sildeyuir, being safe again. She turned to the unseelie prince of nightmares, Draevelan, to gain more power. He made her his servant and part of unseelie court for warlock talents, changing her forever and letting the hatred grow inside of spirit shaman. She was no longer the same; now she resembles dark-hearted unseelie so much that even her goddess, Sehanine, turned her back on Eneathrae.

And now Eneathrae cannot see the moon on the night sky. And maybe because she IS the moon - who knows.

Yeah, random rambling about my DnD character :I

Very interesting picture. I myself wondered if Sehanine, isn't maybe somehow connected to Titania. Cegilune, was said to be another sister of Titania, or her dark half, and Cegilune is also a moon goddess.

I also wonder if Cegilune and Auril/Queen of Air and Darkness, aren't maybe the same being. Auril and Queen of Air and Darkness(even before they were retconed as one being), seem to be both based on Cailleach a Gaelic winter goddess, who had two forms, of a beautifull maiden and old, terrifying hag. Indeed, some researchers theorize that the Queen of Air and Darkness, may have originated as an epitet of Cailleach.
Auril is even served by bheur hags, and Bheur is another of Cailleach's titles/names...
