"I will buy this," he said and the man rolled his eyes.
"Finally..." he muttered, taking the money. As he wrote up a receipt, Macklin looked at the ring resting in the palm of his hand. The band had been given a twisting design, making it look like one continuous and twisting cloud. Set on top of the ring was a jade that was carved and polished to look like a bird in flight, its wings spread out and its beak open as if in the middle of a song.
